Frequently Asked Questions

About the pieces

Are the pieces identical to the photographs?
They are very similar, but never identical. Each piece is handmade, and mineral pigments create unique patterns in every pour. Variations in color, texture, and shape are natural and intentional — this is what makes each piece unrepeatable.

What are the pieces made of?
We use high-quality plaster of Paris, natural mineral pigments, and, in some pieces, protective resins and natural stones. All materials are carefully selected.

Are the pieces durable?
They are decorative objects made of plaster. Although solid, they should be handled with care to avoid drops or impacts. They are not designed for outdoor use or contact with water.

Can I use the trays for food?
No. They are decorative objects. You can use them for keys, jewelry, candles, or other items, but they are not food-safe certified.

About orders

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Peninsular Spain: 3-5 business days. France and Portugal: 5-7 days. Rest of the EU: 7-10 days. You will receive an email with the tracking number.

Can I place a custom order?
Yes. Write to us at estudiomateriapv@gmail.com and tell us your idea. We can adapt colors, sizes, or create special compositions. Custom orders have a production time of 2-4 weeks.

Do you ship outside of Europe?
Currently, we only ship within the European Union. We are working on expanding our shipping zones.

Is shipping free?
Yes, for orders over €50 in peninsular Spain, €70 in France/Portugal/Balearic Islands, and €80 in the rest of the EU.

About returns

Can I return a piece?
Yes, you have 14 days from receipt. If the piece arrives damaged, we will cover all costs. If it's due to a change of mind, the return shipping cost is at your expense.

Are handmade variations a reason for return?
No. Differences between the photograph and the received piece are part of the artisanal process and are clearly communicated in each product description. Each piece is unique.

About care

How do I clean the pieces?
With a dry or slightly damp cloth. Never immerse in water. Plaster is a porous material that absorbs moisture.

Can I put the pieces outdoors?
No. They are designed for indoors. Rain and direct humidity would damage the plaster.
